Accommodations
St Margarets College
The city is well served for accommodation options. New Zealand has a strong tradition of motels which provide a self-catering option for those who want that flexibility. There are also hotels, across a range of standards.
Listed below are those establishments within a short walk of the campus. This is not an endorsement of, or a recommendation for, any of the establishments, simply an indication of those more conveniently located for the conference. Any accommodation from the city centre northwards to the Botanical gardens will be within easy reach of the venue. Accommodation in South Dunedin, or near the beach (St Clair or St Kilda), or on the Otago Peninsula, for example will require a taxi ride to the University or one or more bus trips.
Budget accommodation is available at St Margaret's College, a University hall of residence which also provides conference accommodation. It is situated on campus, set in a historic complex of red brick buildings and gardens, and provides a very comfortable and convenient option, for a very reasonable rate. Most rooms are single occupancy, with shared bathrooms: but the rates include breakfast. Linen and towels are supplied. There may be a small number of large rooms with en suite bathrooms, and double beds.
