Nominations are now open for the 2011 awards! You have the opportunity to nominate outstanding colleagues, peers, and organizations for their extraordinary contributions to the field of impact assessment and IAIA.
See the award categories below and send your nominations to Anne Miller, 2011 Awards Committee Chair (an1miller@aol.com). Nominations should be submitted individually and confidentially.
Winners will be honored during IAIA11 in Puebla, Mexico.

IAIA Global Environment Award
The IAIA Global Environment Award is awarded to a leading individual or institution that has made a substantial contribution to the practice of environmental assessment, management or policy at a global scale, or has otherwise made a major contribution to promote environmental sustainability or environmental justice.
Rose-Hulman Award
The Rose-Hulman Award is awarded to a past or present member of IAIA for major contribution to the field of impact assessment over a sustained period.
Corporate Award
The IAIA Corporate Award is presented to a private sector corporation in recognition of contributions to developments in impact assessment and/or to excellence in practice.
Institutional Award
The Institutional Award is presented to a national or international organization for outstanding contribution to impact assessment, such as a significant contribution to the practice of impact assessment, setting regulatory standards, or other environment-related activity deserving recognition.
Regional Award
The Regional Award is awarded to a person or organization that has made a substantial contribution to the field of impact assessment and/or has taken a leadership role in promoting best practice in impact assessment within the general world region of the location of the conference for the year.
Individual Award
The Individual Award acknowledges personal contributions to the discipline of impact assessment. It recognizes major achievement and advancement in the theory and/or practice over a period of time at an international level.
