Sustainability of the Event
As organisers, we will do our utmost to mitigate possible negative impacts due to the symposium, and take steps towards a sustainable event. This includes more than measuring the impacts of the symposium, and eliminating bottled water or off-setting carbon emissions! We work on a list of issues like e.g. waste, food, travel and resource use at the venue, as well as knowledge development and capacity building.
