IAIA09 Ghana Conference Proceedings
Welcome to the peer reviewed) proceedings of IAIA09 Impact Assessment and Human Well-Being, 29th Annual Conference of the International Association for Impact Assessment, held 16-22 May 2009 at the Accra International Conference Center, Accra, Ghana.
Conference presenters were offered the opportunity to prepare a short paper of their presentation and submit it for peer-review. Each paper received was anonymously reviewed by two independent reviewers, each of whom was also a submitting author, making the IAIA09 peer review process a truly collaborative process.
The reviewer comments were provided to the authors prior to the conference and the final versions of the successful papers are presented here. The papers are short, at no more than 6 pages, and are intended to share important lessons learnt from impact assessment theory and practice with an on-line audience.
I hope you enjoy reading these papers and that you find much within them to aid and support your own work in impact assessment.
