Environmental Impact Assessment Training Course Database
The International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) EIA Training Course Database is an information sharing tool about Environmental Impact Assessment training courses and programs from around the world. The database contains key training course information for those interested in attending and delivering courses. This database makes information searching and retrieval easy. Anyone from the public sector, private sector, non-government organizations and private citizens can benefit from this one stop course inquiry database. More information about each course can be obtained from the course contact person/organization included with each course listed.
Developed by Chantal Davidchuk, Suzy Gauthier and Peter Croal of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) on behalf of IAIA, this is the IAIA's first attempt at a "compendium" of Environmental Impact Assessment courses from around the world.
The information contained in this database reflects the time, energy and support of many people from around the world. Thank you to all who were involved with providing information on EIA courses, and who gave us advice along the way. You have all had a hand in the shaping of this database. A hard copy of the course descriptions and the disk containing the database can be obtained by contacting Rita Hamm, Chief Executive Director, IAIA. The cost for the disk is US$10 and hard copy is US$10. You will need the Microsoft Access software to access the database. The database was developed using Microsoft Access 2000.
