This course introduces the concepts of environmental risk, risk assessment and risk management. It evaluates the usefulness and limits of a decision based on risk assessment in the following areas: land-use management; emergency measures planning; hazardous materials transport; selection of hazardous materials sites; safety measures security. Training can occur in Qu?bec or in a host country.
